My name is Justin. Im 24 years old, born and raised in west virginia. I have been playing guitar for ten years and drive my wife insane. I have two babies at home who take up most of my time and am an operations manager at an auto auction. A few years ago i built (and i use the term loosely) a stand up wash tub bass. It sounds really bad, but i did a decent job on the neck. I hand carved it with a palm planer. Ever since ive wanted to build other things. I m currently redoing two of my electric guitars and when i finish with one i hope to start building an acoustic. Thanks for having me and im sure ill have alot of questions for you greybeards. |

welcome justin, I just finished my first experiment on a acoustic (DEC 5th) , based on an old IBANEZ dreadnaught i have and tried to copy, went well except for the dovetail neck - joint that went a few mm's off. I'm very happy wiyh my soundbox though, very loud and responsive. hope you'll share your experiences and pics with us. Serge Hang around, we are with the pros! |
